UPDF Soldier Breaks Down Before Land Commission

MINISTER Ronald Kibule’s name returns to the land probe committee over the Naama land, this time as the man behind whom businessman Dick Banoba is hiding to grab land that has seen hundreds displaced. One of those affected is staff Sgt Umar Semugwawo, who inspite of being a military officer could not hide his tears as he narrated how he was arrested and tortured as Banoba grabbed his land. All this while, Banoba was in the fully packed commission hearing room, where residents had turned up. The commission is to meet with Dick Banoba in an attempt to get to the root of the problem in Naama.
