Army Sends Soldiers for Training Under East African Community

Uganda has sent 217 troops composed of military, Police and Prisons for a two week training in the republic of Tanzania under the East African Community. The troops were flagged off by the deputy Chief of Defence Forces Lt Gen. Wilson Mbadhi at Gaddaffi barracks Jinja. Gen. Mbadhi revealed this is part of the efforts to strengthen the East African Community and also enhance state readiness to the East Africa states in responding to complex security situations.
