SGR Project is Still Government’s Focus

Land acquisition and compensation continue to slow down preparations for the implementation of the regional Standard gauge railway project that will stretch between partner states of Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and south Sudan. Cabinet minister for works Monica Azuba Ntege says government has so far secured money for compensation for 101km out of 273km required to cover the Eastern line of Malaba to Kampala.
