Amuru Land Row Continues, Heavy Deployment Ahead of Minister’s Visit

Over 200 security personnel have been deployed at Kololo in Amuru district, ahead of a planned visit by the Lands Minister, Betty Amongi on Monday. Area Member of Parliament, Gilbert Oulanya believes this is a plot by government to forcefully survey the land in question, and give it to Mahdivani group for sugar cane growing.
