Brenda Nabukenya’s 10th Parliament Hopes Quashed

The court of appeal has reinstated NRM’s Lillian Nakate as the duly elected woman member of parliament for Luweero district quashing DP’s Brenda Nabukenya’s political hopes for the tenth parliament.
This was after a panel of three judges led by Justice Steven Kavuma set aside an earlier decision by the high court that had nullified the election and ordered for fresh elections over non-compliance with electoral laws.
