Detained FDC Supporters Released

Forum for Democratic Change Leaders and supporters spent the greatest part of the day today at the gate of Nalufenya detention centre demanding the release of their colleagues who were arrested in Kyadondo east constituency.
The FDC leaders led by Secretary for mobilisation Ingrid Turinawe, former Leader of Opposition in parliament Wafula Ogutu, and former Kyadondo East MP Apollo Katinti were in company of several FDC supporters in Jinja when they stormed Nalufenya as early as 10:00am. More in this report.
