DP's Waiswa Drags Parliament into Court

The Democratic Party’s deputy publicist Alex Waiswa has dragged the parliamentary commission to the high court seeking orders to declare the events that transpired in parliament on the 27th of last month as acts of illegality. This would essentially mean that all proceedings of parliament on the 27th day of September 2017 concluding the motion to seek leave to prepare a private members bill to amend article 102 (B) were illegal and cannot generate the force of law in Uganda.
