Government Tables Bill on Sugar

Government has finally bowed to pressure of large sugar manufacturer’s demands and tabled the long awaited sugar bill. Trade minister Amelia Kyambade tabled the bill that seeks to regulate the Sugar industry in Uganda following endless fights between large and small millers.
