Health Committee Cracks the Whip, Demand Explanation on Fake Drugs

Pharmacists have accused the National Drug Authority of lacking the capacity to examine the vaccines entering the country. The revelations come in the wake of reports that some medical facilities have been using fake vaccines for Hepatitis B Package: Members of the pharmacy owners association of Uganda while in an interface with the Health committee of parliament accused the national drug authority of lacking the capacity to test vaccines entering the country. The bombshell comes weeks after the members of parliament received the same vaccines raising fears that they may not be safe either.
