Journalists Barred from Kitatta's Trial

Journalists and lawyers representing Abdallah Kitatta the man at the helm of the notorious group Boda Boda 2010 association and his co – accused were barred from attending the latter’s trial by the Unit Disciplinary Court (UDC). The army leadership argued that the UDC is not an open court by composition and conducts of its duties unlike superior courts within the army.
