Makerere University Students Dragged to Court

Makerere University Council has ruled that the over 500 students who don’t appear on the final graduation list shall not graduate this year. Police was meanwhile deployed at the university to prevent a planned storming of the Council meeting by the affected students.Most of the affected students are from the college of humanities and social science, school of statistics and planning, school of education as well as the college of agriculture and environmental sciences.
