Peace Policy Will Boost Development – UN Representative, Rosa Malango

Uganda cannot achieve a middle income status and other targets without a peace policy. This is according to the UN representative in Uganda, Rosa Malango.
She was speaking at the draft peace policy meeting with stakeholders in Kampala, where she told government that the policy needs to be expedited to support other sustainable development efforts in Uganda.
Government however says the policy was delayed for wider consultations, but also the 2016 political season.
