Speaker Kadaga Suspends Parliament over Justice Kavuma Order

Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga has suspended all parliamentary activities until further notice,arguing the Monday’s injunction by Deputy Chief Justice Steven Kavuma was uncalled for and undemocratic. Kadaga also say it is unfortunate that the Judiciary is interfering with the work of Parliament. In her ruling before closing the House, Kadaga also ordered the Attorney General to immediately move to the Constitutional Court to have the court injunction revoked.
