Teachers Fault Parents on Career Choice

As government battles unemployment among graduates, education experts feel the sector has been neglected and left to investors who are milking millions out of parents without minding about the students’ future. This laxity has seen a number students make wrong career wrong choices, which has not only resulted into unemployment but also contributed to the growing nonproductive labour force. Some schools have left career guidance to parents some of who know less about the academic performance of their children. Salma Namwanje takes a look at Career guidance, a critical neglected area.
