The United States government has increased its U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) funding in Uganda to 402 million dollars for the year 2017/2018 from a pantry, up from 391 million dollars.
Speaking to journalists, US ambassador to Uganda Deborah Malac says the increased support will go towards increasing the number of women testing for HIV and taking Anti-Retroviral Treatment.
