South Sudan says the expulsion of 1st vice president Riek Machar replacing him with Taban Deng Gai is a move they hope will bring peace in the currently vulnerable state.
South Sudan’s envoy to Uganda, Ambassador Samuel Luate told NBS in an interview earlier today that President’s Kiir’s consideration of Taban Deng, a former peace negotiator is in line with SPLM in Opposition’s Constitution.
But political analysts fear the move is likely to slide South Sudan back into a blood bath.
