Court Throws Out Serere Woman MP Adoa Abeku

The High Court in Soroti earlier today nullified Helen Adoa Abeku’s election as woman Member of Parliament for Serere district in the February Parliamentary polls.
This followed a petition by Forum for Democratic Change’s Alice Alaso in which she accused the NRM candidate of engaging in voter bribery, vote rigging and use of a government vehicle during campaigns.
