South Sudan Refugee Influx Worries Uganda

The Ugandan Government is concerned over the current refugee situation in the country following the unrest in south Sudan. The situation in neighbouring South Sudan has seen masses of South Sudanese flee into Northern Uganda seeking refuge. This presents challenges, ranging from disease outbreak to insecurity, which government is struggling to address. Currently Uganda is home to over 170,000 refugees, with the number still soaring if peace is not restored in South Sudan.
