State Minister of Health Thrown Out Of Parliament

Mbale high court has nullified the elections of woman MP Tororo Sarah Achieng Opendi, who doubles as Minister for Primary Healthcare.
Opendi becomes the second Minister in President Museveni cabinet to be thrown out of parliament by court – the other being state minister for Bunyoro Affair Ernest Kizza.
Lady justice Margret Ouma Ogule said Petitioner, NRM’s Ayo Jacinta had convinced court that there were serious irregularities in the elections, ordering for fresh polls.
