Parliament is set to enact a law that will see all public and private working places establish breast feeding centres as a way of having friendly working conditions for working mothers. This was revealed by the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga during the launch of the breastfeeding week at Parliament.
To complement breastfeeding efforts, the ministry of Health also wants parliament to enact a law that will see the lifting of maternity leave from the current 60 days to 90 days.
