Oxfam International ED Winnie Byanyima Calls for Global Taxation Body

For decades, world trade and transactions have operated under a system that has never been revised despite the changes in global economic trends.
As a result, poor countries Uganda inclusive continue losing billions of dollars because multinational companies are cheating African governments out of vital revenues by not paying their fair share in taxes. But according to Oxfam Executive Director Winnie Byanyima, the world needs to agree on a global tax body for tax cooperation to tighten financial rules.
