5600 Scrapped from Public Service

Over 5,000 civil servants have been scrapped off the civil service payroll as cases of another 10,000 remain pending after beneficiaries failed to turn up for the verification exercise that ended in July. Consequently, the deleted account names will not be paid salaries until fully verified .
