Chief justice Bart Katureebe Challenges New Magistrates on Ethics

The chief justice Bart Katureebe has challenged grade one magistrates’ who were appointed early this year to act in line with the judicial code of conduct.
Katureebe says that corruption, delayed cases and absenteeism stand in between efficient service delivery and the magistrates but they can overcome them if they stick to the code of conduct.
This was during an induction training of the new magistrates’ on how best they should execute their judicial roles.
