DPP Takes over Kayihura Court Case

The directorate of public prosecution DPP, has taken over the case in which the inspector general of police Gen. Kale Kayihura and 7 other police commanders are accused of torture. Whereas the private prosecution lawyers surrendered the case to the DPP and will only be watching the proceedings, the two parties deferred on why the DPP was not proceeding formally.
