Lukwago Survives Lynching at Makindye Magistrate Court by Kayihura Supporters

Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago survived lynching by an angry mob Wednesday afternoon at the Makindye Magistrates court.
People purporting to be Kayihura’s supporters turned up in hundreds outside court premises, and wanted to beat up Lukwago for filing the suit against the IGP and for continuously criticizing him despite his commitment to secure the country.
Amidst tight security, Lukwago was whisked away in to a police double cabin, but his colleague Abdulah Kiwanuka had his car vandalized.
