MPs Skip Parliamentary Session


The absence of legislators in parliament is steadily creeping back and taking toll of the 10th parliament – even when Speaker Rebecca Kadaga previously set tough guideline.
The integrity of MPs has come under fresh scrutiny, after the speaker literally presided over an empty House with limited legislators present.
During the close of last parliament, Kadaga instituted a new requirement where MPs are required an electronic device check in and out of the chambers – this seems not to have impacted.
