Total E&P Granted Petroleum Production License

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Development finalised the evaluation of the applications for the production licenses. The Energy minister will tomorrow grant eight Petroleum Production Licences over oil fields, in Exploration Area two and Exploration Area one. So far five Petroleum Production Licences have been granted to Tullow Uganda Operations Pty Limited, and three will be issued to Total E&P Uganda.
