South Sudan: Fighting Resumes in Oil Rich Unity State

Latest reports from South Sudan’s oil rich Unity State confirm that a heavy fighting resumed at dawn this morning around the state capital, Bentiu. Confirming the reports, the Unity State spokesperson for SPLM/SPLA in Opposition, Weirial Puok Baluang, accused the SPLA-IG for attacking their positions at Wichbaar, Tong and Pakuur suburbs around Bentiu town.
