Local firms still sidelined – Private sector Foundation

While Uganda has made its position to support local firms clear, players say government is not walking the talk. Of the many ongoing public investments in the country, local construction firms have been left out, with the lucrative contracts already awarded to foreign companies. Private sector Foundation Executive Director Gideon Badagawa says local firms can effectively manage these projects.
