The sale of Uganda’s National Cultural Centre continues to raise a storm from the public and enthusiasts. Veteran Actor Phillip Luswata has cautioned Government against entrusting the facility to private owners, without involving theater stakeholders.
Speaking to People and Power’s Mable Twegumye Zake, Luswata urged a rethink. Eyebrows were last week raised when it was reported the Centre that also hosts National Theater was to be leased to a private developer to manage it for the first time since 1959, under a public private partnership.
