Civil Society Organizations Call For World Bank Review of Chinese Contracts

The dominance of the country’s major infrastructure projects by Chinese companies has become a concern to civil Society organizations, which are now partly blaming the World Bank, one of the major global funders, for failing to play its role in ensuring that the country transparently follows its set procurement guidelines.
The Civil Societies have penned an open letter to the President of the World Bank – calling for robust transparency in the way Chinese companies win local tenders.
