Jamil Mukulu Remanded to Luzira

The suspected Allied Democratic Front leader, Jamil Mukulu has been remanded to Luzira prisons after spending one year in police custody as the state continues with its investigation. There was however drama in Jinja Magistrate court as Mukulu protested being remanded to Luzira prisons without any formal charges against him.
This forced the chief magistrate, John Francis Kaggwa to abandon the chambers, only to return and grant the request of the state prosecutor;
