Juvenile Offenders to Be Sentenced

Justice Joseph Murangira of the High Court is set to sentence 9 of 33 juveniles offenders who earlier on pleaded guilty to capital offenses such as murder, rape and defilement among others.
This will be after giving the stand of the new law in handling of juvenile offenders which now allows the judge to try and sentence offenders instead of them being sent back to a magistrate’s family and children’s court for sentencing.
