Medical Interns Protest New Policy

Security at Parliament this afternoon faced a hard time blocking intern doctors from storming the August House in protest of a new government internship policy.
The angry students who had come to petition the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga vowed not to vacate the premises of the August house until their issues are addressed by Parliament. Similar demonstrations were also witnessed at Mbarara and Mbale towns.
