Minister Speaks Out On SACCOs Lending Rates

The state minister for micro finance, Kyeyune Kasolo has cautioned SACCOs against lending out money to locals at very high interest rates.
While addressing District Commercial officers in Kampala, Kasolo said interest rates on loans from SACCOs should not go beyond 20 percent which he said would encourage more members to join and also maintain those who have already become members.
