Nursery Tea Operators Protest Ministers’ Order

Tea nursery bed farmers in Kabaale district took to the streets to protest the latest a decision by the State Housing Minister to block their payments. The nursery bed farmers were due for payment for the supply of tea seedlings to tea growers but the minister asked NAADS to hold the payments, citing supply of substandard seedlings to farmers.
