Police: Over Two Billion Shillings Collected from Operation Fika Salama


The traffic police has announced that over two billion shillings has been collected ever since the road safety operation dubbed “Fika salama” which is Kiswahili for travel safe was launched. The traffic Authorities are now targeting a three billion monthly collection in road fines and hopes this money can keep increasing until all Ugandan roads are safer. Revenue from this operation has risen from 500 million in just three months.
