Mugisha Muntu Lashes Out at Police over Independence Day Arrests

The forum for Democratic Change has condemned the manner in which opposition leaders were arrested yesterday as they were heading to Katwe where they had organized Independence Day celebrations.
The party president retired Major General Mugisha Muntu while addressing the media a earlier today expressed concern that the Uganda police had the audacity to stop their celebrations in Kampala yet the Uganda People’s Congress had theirs in Lira district.
