Chinese Companies Told to Refund Shs32bn

Parliament has ordered the contractors of the five Chinese construction companies to refund by close of day Shs32 billion out of Shs47.7 billion remitted to to them by UNRA.
The contractors had a rough time before the Parliamentary Committee of Commissions, State Authorities and State Enterprises after failing to explain why they failed to compensate the people they had been charged with and transferred it to their personal accounts.
The legislators now want the five Chinese Construction company to blacklisted and be banned from getting any construction work from the government.
