MPs Grill NFA Officials on Forest Land Grabbing

Legislators on the parliamentary committee on commissions, state authorities and state enterprises (COSASE) this morning grilled officials of the National Forestry Authority over their failure to control forest land grabbing around the country.
The legislators said this weakness was greatly responsible for the disappearing forest cover which has in turn led to climate change. The committee felt the officials were doing less to safeguard the forests.
