Leave the Streets, Government Orders Vendors

Government has directed all street vendors to vacate the streets, road reserves, open spaces, road carriageways and sidewalks of Kampala city. According to Kampala Minister, Beti Kamya, the vendors should instead occupy market places that are readily available. Kamya says this is a response to the outcry of many people who want the city clean, vibrant and orderly.
