With the Kenyan elections drawing nearer, leaders of the Central corridor have embarked on reviving doing business through the port of Dar Es Salaam. The move according to Charles Kareba, the managing director Cargo International Limited, is aimed at avoiding losses that traders incurred after the 2007 post election violence in Kenya. Traders in hinterland, mainly from Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo are always on tenterhooks every time Kenya goes to polls.
