Police Battle Besigye Employees

Police have arrested Besigye’s domestic employee (maid) for allegedly protesting police’s continuous presence at the opposition leader’s Kasangati residence which has denied family members opportunity to freely move around.
The arrested maid attempted to force out the police from the premises accusing them of cutting off basic supplies like food to the home.
But police maintained their presence at Besigye’s home claiming they are investigating alleged crime committed by Besigye and his driver at the rear gate exiting his residence.
