Lwamafa, Kunsa and Obey Guilty, Given Long Jail Terms

The Anti-Corruption court has sentenced three former top bosses in the Ministry of Public Service to long prison terms after they were convicted of defrauding the tax payer of over sh88 billion.
Justice Lawrence Gidudu sentenced former Permanent Secretary Jimmy Lwamafa to 7 years, former Director Research and Development Stephen KiwanukaKunsa to 5 years and the Principal Accountant Christopher Obey to 10 years over their role in the scam. Justice Gidudu also ordered the trio to refund sh50 billion of the stolen money.
