6000 Illegal Firearms Destroyed

Over six thousand illegal small guns collected across the country have been destroyed in what might bring a sigh of relief to the population as government moves to put an end to crime related to the use of arms.
According to the Coordinator of the Uganda National Focal Point on small arms and light weapons Okello Makmot, these are arms that were collected in the last four years by the various police stations across the country.
