Government Acquires New Forensic Investigations Machine

Government has procured a Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LCM – SM) machine that is to improve the conduct of forensic investigations. The machine is expected to ease police and courts’ work in crime related cases and reduces the practice of taking samples abroad for analysis.
The sh2.8 billion system was commissioned this afternoon at the government analytical laboratory in Wandegeya.
