Kasese Clashes: Police Officers Abandon Kasese Police Posts in Fear

Following the withdrawal of police officers from some police posts in the volatile Kasese district, there is growing concern among the population over potential rise of crime due to the absence of police in the area.
NBS visited some of the abandoned police posts and talked to the locals over their concern. Police have however defended the withdrawal saying it was is the interest and of safety of the officers.
