Public Accounts Committee of Parliament in the Spotlight over Extortion

The opposition led public accounts committee of parliament is now under scrutiny after its leadership casually swept under the carpet allegations of extortion against Aringa South MP Alioni Odria. Ethics and Integrity state minister father Simon Lokodo says the committee should be investigated as reports of extortion by MPs on the committee are widespread. This now raises a very pertinent question…… is the public accounts committee, believed to be a parliamentary watch dog transforming itself into an honorable extortion committee?
