UBOS Study: Poverty Levels Rise in Northern Uganda

Female headed families in Uganda have remained chronically poor over the last five years – this according to new research findings released today by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS).
The Uganda national panel survey shows that 11% of female headed families are struggling, with no hope of emerging from their sorry situation. Northern Uganda remained the poorest region in the country.
