Was Closing Makerere University Inevitable?

Complex problems demand complex solutions, especially if the problems are of the nature that Makerere University is. Whether Makerere’s closure by the President was inevitable, necessary and bearing the ability to fix the problems at East Africa’s oldest university remains a question which many are pondering on.
